scavenger hunt

A scavenger hunt is when you look for something that is on your list of things to find as fast as you can.
The people that were with me while looking for the objects were Lydia and Krista. We went all over looking for the pictures and objects. It was fun and we were trying to go as fast as we could.

tip on sport photos

Use the right tools

If you are still shooting with a film camera, use high speed film, and carry extra rolls. If you are shooting with a digital camera, see if the camera will allow you to choose a fast shutter speed and/or high ISO setting. If you are using a digital camera, make sure you have enough memory space or extra memory modules for all the shots you'll want to take, and enough battery life to cover the warm-ups, the game, AND the victory celebration. (See Shoot, shoot, shoot below.) Don't be worried about how many pictures you are taking.

Seven ways to the perfict family photo

perfect family photo
1) Get a Grip, hold the camera tight, stay steady by tucking in your elbows and keeping your feet somewhat apart and watch out of your fingers keep them away from the lens.
2)Compose yourself, don't just point and shoot take some time to arrange the people. Then frame your picture carefully. Put your subject to one side, rather than bang in the middle, as this will add impact.
3)Another point of view, when you are taking pictures of kids and pets you should get down to where they are. They are small enough so don't let them be smaller in a picture.
4)Light it or not, Natural light is almost better then the flash on your camera. Try to put the object by the window and let them face it. Better to take them outside. When you need to use it, remember that the built-in flash on your camera will only work to a distance of about 4-5m away.
5)Sharpen up, use the autofocus one your camera to get a good picture.
6)Candid camera, sometimes when you are taking pictures of people it looks better if the people are not looking, because they will pose and it wouldn't look good.
7)Don't stop, the joy of digital photography is that you can take as many pictures as you like. The more you take, the more likely you are to shoot pictures that everyone will love.

Top Ten Tips

Kodak Top Ten Tips
1.)Get down on their level, when you are talking photos of kids and animals you should get down to their level at eye level.
2.)Use a plain background, before taking the photo check what is behind the object. A cluttered area is distracting and a plain background you could see the object better.
3.)Use flash outdoors, when using the flash in the bright sun it will lighten the shadows of the object.
4.)Move in Close, when your are taking photos of small object like flowers you should get really close to the object so there is no background distracting.
5.)Take some vertical Pictures, it looks better if your take vertical pictures like if your were taking a photo of a tower you wouldn't want to take it horizontal because it wouldn't show the whole object.
6.)Lock the focus, when your are taking a picture of an object that is not in the middle you should push down the shudder button half way and re-frame your picture still holding down the shutter button and then when its in good focus push it down all the way.
7.)Move it from the middle, to bring your photos to life move it way from the center.
8.)know your flash's range, if your object is to far from the camera's flash it will be dark, so don't get to far from the object.
9.)Watch the light, make sure your have good light when taking pictures of people.
